1. What is your service area?

  • For Cat Sitting and House Checks: we service SW Calgary, east to west from 14th St. to 69 St., north to south from Bow Trail to Glenmore Trail. We also service Discovery Ridge, Coach Hill, Mount Royal, Lakeview, Patterson, Prominence Point, Spruce Cliff, and Wildwood.
  • For Dog Walking: we service SW Calgary, east to west from 14 St. to 69th Street, north to south from 17 Ave to Glenmore Trail. We also service Discovery Ridge and Lakeview.

Please contact us for availability if you are located slightly outside of our service area.

2. What are the requirements for service?

3. How do I pay for the services?
For pet sitting services, we ask that you leave a postdated cheque on the counter, addressed to K9 Care and Kitties Too, and we will leave you an invoice when we have finished the service. For our regular walking clients, payment is due at the start of the month, for the month. Invoices will be issued when we receive payment.

4. What do I do when I return home?
Please call us at 403-585-3066 to let us know that you have returned home safely. If you arrive early, please call us right away so you are not charged for any remaining visits.

5. How are our keys stored?
Your home security is very important to us. For this reason all keys are stored in a locked key rack and assigned a unique code so that others cannot identify whose key it is. Your key can be returned to you if you prefer. However, if you plan to make regular bookings, it would be easier for all if we kept a key on hand. In the future, we may even be able to help you if you are locked out!

6. Will you visit and walk my dog in poor weather?
Rain, snow or shine we will be at your home to look after your pet! The amount of time spent outside will be shortened in temperatures above +25 degrees and below -25 degrees. In this case the remaining time will be spent playing inside. Due to the inclement weather we sometimes get, please leave a towel at the front door to wipe muddy paws.

7. What is your cancellation policy?
All cancellations must be made by phone. If you do cancel via email please do not assume we have received it unless we reply and confirm the cancellation. Please give us at least 24 hours notice if you must cancel; less than 24 hours notice will result in you being charged for the service. In the case of cat visits you will be charged if you cancel less than 7 days in advance unless we can secure another client.

8. What are your holiday rates?
A surcharge of $10 per service will apply on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

9. Where do you walk my dog?
The walks start from your front step and continue around the neighborhood. If there are parks near your home we will visit those.
